Troubleshooting optomap Image Quality

If an image has too much eyelid and/or lashes visible, it could negatively impact the quality of the review. Check that the height of the table and position of the patient are correct by utilizing the green light on the image target. Remember to politely instruct the patient to open both eyes as wide as possible.

If the image is still obscured by the patient’s lids and lashes, the amount of lid and lash can be minimized by gently lifting the patient’s eyebrow.
