optomap® Recognizing Pathology

Ocular Ischemia Syndrome
A constellation of findings which may include low grade inflammation, neovascularization, venous tortuosity, and retinal hemorrhages, which is due to Inadequate blood supply to the retina and the eye — commonly due to narrowing of the carotid system.
